Meeting ID: 838 1321 3790  Passcode: 382347

"The Douglas Parent Teacher Organization is the best way for our school's parents to interact with their child's teachers. We strive to foster those relationships and create a sense of community between our staff and our parents through projects, scholarships, goal-sharing, and open communication." John Mussulman, Former PTO President

The  Douglas Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has grown over time to form a collaborative relationship in support of our students. This connection is bolstered by a unifying goal to raise funds, make improvements, and support school initiatives deemed appropriate and necessary to the functions of the school. Comprised of PTO officers, parents, administrators, a teacher representative from each grade level, support staff members, and a Spanish translator, the PTO meets monthly to discuss school priorities and initiate fundraising efforts. Our PTO Meetings take place the first Wednesday of every month at 2:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!

A Note From Our PTO President

Hello Douglas family, once again PTO sends you a cordial greeting as we begin the month of March. Welcome Spring! February had a fantastic start with the Coin War celebration for all the second-grade students who managed to achieve victory; pizza, snack and extra recess was the reward for such a well-deserved achievement. Moving on, we appreciate the parents who attended the February meeting in person and virtually. Your excellent ideas are valued and taken into account for the planning of events, our aim is to make our organization more productive. You are invited to join our March meeting this Wednesday, 3/6/2024 at 2:30. Thank you also for your support to the volunteers who always give their time with great joy. February is the month of love and it was very beautiful to see that students had the opportunity to receive a message of love from their parents and/or guardians with the hearts that PTO sent home. Thanks to all the parents who sent a message of love to your children and thanks also to those who bought a gift of love at our Valentine's Day Sale. But February went by like a sigh and now March gives us new opportunities to continue doing wonderful things like our 6th Color Run, one of the favorite events for students, parents and teachers. Remember that you can call, text or email if you want to be part of this wonderful event, which will take place on Friday morning, March 22. We thank everyone in advance for their collaboration and involvement so that this race is held safely and full of color and fun!
